5 Copying the CF card
When copying the same setting environment of the CF card to multiple panel computers , use the following
procedure to copy the CF card.
5.1 Copying the CF card procedure
(1) Disable the Write Filter.
When the Write Filter is enable, the security ID cannot be changed.

(2) Start “EWFSettingTool. exe” and select “Change Security ID” and click [ok]. (Executable file is
“C:\Proface\EWFSettingTool\EWFSettingTool.exe”.)
(3) The following dialog box will appear.
• By not copying the CF card through the following procedure, a CF card with the same security ID
will be created. A security ID is a unique ID assigned to each panel computer. Computers that have
the same security ID will be recognized as the same computer on the Microsoft Network.
• Changing the setting requires the administrator's authority.
